Cover Ups Add Style

Here we are approaching Labor Day weekend which has come to mark the end of most summer activities.  While the calendar tells us Summer officially ends near the end of September, we begin turning our eyes to Fall and Fall activities after Labor Day.  So this is my last “Summer post” and going forward I will start transitioning with the approaching season.  How appropriate to do this last summer post on Summer cover ups for beach wear.

These two coverup were my fun “go to’s” this summer.  Cover-ups come in many styles, forms and lengths, as you can see by these two.  They are great to wear when you go to the beach or the pool.  They are also great to wear when you are out and about in a beach community and want to keep the suit on, and still shop, eat or lounge around.

My daughter-in-law bought me the fun shredded shift, as I call it, on a summer trip she took to Mexico.  I love the fact that it provides ample coverage for me and the shredded fringe adds fun to style.

The semi sheer cover-up is a bit more daring for me, yet it provides the coverage that I desire.

Now would be a great time to grab some great bargains on cover-ups for next summer or for a “Winter get-away”.  Unfortunately there are not a lot to choose from at this time of the year, but who knows what you might run across.
