Hello Friends!  It has been a while since I last posted a blog.  With everything that has been going on with our ongoing Pandemic, dressing up and posting fashion trends has not been high on my list of things to do.  Nevertheless, I have missed it!  For the last couple months, staying in place has been very routine.  My days seldom varied and dressing up was often the last thing I wanted to do.  I chuckle when I think about how comfortable I became with my “routine” outfits and my casual cozy “for my eyes only” outfits.

But as with everything, a change is a necessity that often requires us to get us up and get moving.  So as things around us are slowly opening up, my spirits are beginning to cautiously lift too.  And I am turning my attention to wearing something other than my comfortable workout closes and leggings.  Plus getting a much needed haircut is in my future decisions.

Today I thought it would be nice to dress up somewhat in a cool summer top that I just ordered from Target for $16.  Those of you who follow my blog also know I like to keep my purchases at $25 and under, so this falls perfectly within my price range.  I love the ruffled edges along the shoulders and coupling it with a pair of palazzos is perfect.  It is a soft, comfortable loose top that can be dressed up or casual.

With the warmer weather, there are so many cool summer outfits waiting to grab up.  And as we slowly begin to start leaving our “shelter in place” lives, start thinking about some simple purchases you might want to consider to enhance those favorite pieces in your closet.  And keep your eyes open for ruffles, which are pretty popular this Spring season.  I am seeing them pop up a lot as I do my online shopping.

Remember to please stay safe out there, keep social distancing as much as you can and don’t forget to wear those masks!  I am continuing to wear mine, thinking of everyone’s safety,  when I leave the house for myself and for others!
