Jumpsuits, Jumpsuits, We All Want Jumpsuits!

One of my favorite clothing items is a jumpsuit.  Unfortunately for me, being 5’10” makes it very difficult at times to find one long enough unless I find one in Talls.  That, of late, has been as easy as winning the local state lottery.

One of the solutions, for me, has been to find the midi length jumpsuit, which I have found and embraced.  This particular one I recently found at a bargain around my $25 price range.  There were some online for Talls which were priced close to and over $100 which for me is a definite “no can do” or should I say “no will do”.

The history of jumpsuits for women centers around sports and workwear.  For me, I remember wearing a one piece short jumpsuit for gym class in the 1960’s and 70’s.  It’s name’s origin stems from the suit that parachuters and skydivers would wear in jumping out of planes.  Additional history can be found in this article, Fashion Archives:  A Look at the History of the Jumpsuit https://startupfashion.com/fashion-archives-a-look-at-the-history-of-the-jumpsuit/

But today it is worn as a daily fashion piece.  A good benefit of the jumpsuit is that you can dress it up or dress it down.  It can easily be altered to fit the occasion.

It can be worn by all body types, making it desirable by all.  And it can also be for all ages, from the youngest to the older mature lady.  Voila, myself.

It is seasonal and it can also be accessorized to make it multiseasonal.  With this midi length jumpsuit, you can wear sandals for summer, flats for fall and boots for winter, just by changing up the footwear.  Adding scarves, jackets, and jewelry are additional ways to offer versatility and change.

Bottom line is, you can’t really miss with a good jumpsuit.  If you don’t have one in your wardrobe yet, you might want to consider this fun piece.
